Volunteer for Partner's Path
Do you want to support the employment of immigrant partners? Are you in an intercultural relationship, or have you moved to Finland yourself? Are you interested in leading a peer support group, or do you want to contribute your time, experience, and expertise in another way?
Volunteers play an important part in the Partner's Path project, and together we will find you a volunteer position where you can support others, as well as to learn and self-develop, and gain experience on volunteering and peer support.
Volunteers to lead our peer support groups focusing on employment, integration, and well-being, for both Finnish and The peer support groups focus on the employment and employability for both the immigrant and Finnish partners in intercultural relationships. We are looking for volunteers with experience on employment, integration, or intercultural relationships. We expect your volunteers to be motivated, committed, and have a positive attitude towards supporting intercultural families and couples. Our volunteers will receive training and support in what they do, and experience on volunteering and peer support.
As well as leading a peer support group you can volunteer for Partner's Path by sharing your experiences and expertise. You can speak at one of our events, or at a peer support group, invite a peer support group to visit at your work place, write about your experiences or area of expertise on our website or blog, participate in a campaign, or help in organising events and childcare so even a person looking after a child at home can participate.
Sign up as a volunteer by filling in the form below, and we'll be in touch with you as soon as possible. We discuss our volunteering options with all of our potential volunteers before they can start, with a few exceptions. In addition to the ready-made options for volunteering, you can also suggest a way in which you'd like to participate, or we can think about it together.
