Familia provides information and training on intercultural themes for professionals in various fields. Familia has administered projects focused on intercultural families during 2008-2016. These efforts have provided the association with an enormous amount of information and expertise in this area.

Looking for information? 

Articles, stories, tips, guides and research data on intercultural families has been compiled in the Duo Library.

The themes include intercultural children, bilingualism, crises and divorce, parenthood, relationships and family. The Duo Library also has guides and instructions, statistics and studies, and recorded online lectures on different topics.

The Duo Blog contains a variety of entries from different writers looking to share their experiences of intercultural life.

In need of training? 

We offer training, for example, to municipal and organisation employees, volunteers and students on the special characteristics of intercultural family life. Duo training and lectures focus on the theme of interculturalism, but the information they contain is also applicable to many jobs dealing with multiculturalism, human interaction and cultural sensitivity.
